Marcus Chen
Artistic Philosophy
My creative practice is guided by three core principles that inform every installation and artwork
Light as Medium
Using light not just as illumination but as a sculptural element, transforming spaces and creating immersive experiences that challenge our perception of reality.
Liminal Spaces
Exploring the transitional spaces between digital and physical, conscious and subconscious, creating artworks that exist in multiple states simultaneously.
Collective Experience
Creating installations that require audience participation, transforming viewers into co-creators and emphasizing art as a shared, communal experience.
