Refund, Cancellation and Payment Policy

1 Introduction

This Refund, Cancellation and Payment Policy explains how Witzzart handles payments, cancellations, refunds, creator payouts, and related transaction matters. This policy applies to bookings and purchases made through the platform unless a different rule is clearly stated in the relevant listing or otherwise accepted through the platform. By completing a booking or using the platform for a transaction, you agree to this policy.

2 Payments

For users, the amount payable may include the listed booking price, a platform fee, applicable taxes, and any payment-related charge shown at checkout or otherwise disclosed on the platform. For creators, the payout amount may be reduced by a platform commission, applicable taxes, payment-related deductions, or other charges that are clearly disclosed, required by law, or needed to complete the transaction.

The platform may update these charges from time to time, subject to the information shown to the user or creator at the relevant point of transaction.

3 Creator Payouts

Creator payouts are generally processed within three to five working days after successful completion of the event or service, and payouts are sent to the bank account collected from the creator at the time of registration. The timing of payout release may depend on confirmation of completion, the absence of disputes, accurate banking information, payment gateway processing, and any other operational or verification requirement.

Where a payout needs to be held, reviewed, adjusted, or delayed because of a dispute, suspected fraud, compliance issue, incomplete information, or other operational concern, Witzzart may do so until the matter is resolved.

4 Refund Requests

Refund requests and cancellation requests must be raised through the official support email address. Witzzart does not process refund matters through informal channels. When a request is submitted, the platform may review the relevant booking details, communication history, listing terms, attendance information, creator explanation, timing of the request, and any other facts necessary to make a decision.

Witzzart may consult the creator before deciding or may decide independently if the circumstances require it. Refund and cancellation decisions are made case by case, and the platform does not guarantee that any request will be approved.

5 User Cancellations

User-initiated cancellations do not automatically create a right to a refund. A user may still request review through support, but approval depends on the facts and the platform's assessment of the situation. If a user does not attend a booked event or otherwise fails to appear, the request will generally not result in a refund unless the platform finds a clear reason to approve it.

6 Creator Cancellations

Where a creator cancels an event or is unable to deliver the listed offering, the user will generally be eligible for a full refund, subject to payment processing charges that may already have been incurred and cannot be recovered.

7 Platform Cancellations

Where Witzzart cancels an event or transaction under its platform authority, the user will generally be eligible for a full refund, again subject to any processing charge that has already been lawfully incurred and cannot be reversed.

8 Fees and Non-Refundable Amounts

Platform fees are generally non-refundable unless the platform decides otherwise in a particular case or the law requires a different result. Payment processing charges may also be treated separately from the refundable amount where such charges have already been applied to the transaction.

9 Refund Method and Timing

Approved refunds, when issued, are normally returned to the original payment method or through another reasonable method selected by the platform where necessary. The time taken for a refund to appear in a bank account or card statement may vary depending on the payment provider, bank, or network involved.

10 Listing-Specific Rules

If a listing contains special cancellation terms, those terms apply to that listing so long as they are clearly shown to the user in advance. If a listing does not clearly provide a different cancellation rule, this policy applies as the default. If a creator changes an event materially, including changes to time, venue, audience, or delivery format, that may be taken into account when the platform reviews a refund or cancellation request.

11 Withholding and Adjustment of Payments

Witzzart may withhold, adjust, or reverse payouts where necessary to resolve a dispute, prevent abuse, satisfy compliance requirements, or address a serious issue connected to the transaction. A platform decision in one case does not create a rule for every other case. Refunds are always reviewed based on the specific facts available at the time.
